The Hunting Ground
Screening @ The New School
Sponsored by the Gender Studies Department in partnership with Student Health Services, curated by The Foundation for Gender Equality

THE HUNTING GROUND is a startling exposé of rape crimes on U.S. campuses, institutional cover-ups and the brutal social toll on victims and their families. Weaving together verité footage and first-person testimonies, the film follows survivors as they pursue their education while fighting for justice — despite harsh retaliation, harassment and pushback at every level.

AMY ZIERING is a two-time Emmy Award-winning and Academy Award-nominated documentary filmmaker. Her most recent film, THE HUNTING GROUND, won the Producer's Guild of America’s Stanley Kramer Award and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song. Past credits include the Oscar nominated documentary, THE INVISIBLE WAR.
